I’ve taught writing for the past eight years at the college level, and the more I’ve worked with other writers, the more I’ve realized how useful writing from the subconscious can be. Not only have I learned to take advantage of my subconscious while writing several screenplays and four novels, I’ve developed tools to make it easier for my students to do the same thing.
It’s really a wonderful way to make writing easier, more inspired, and a hell of a lot more fun– so why not blog about it? I hope you’re able to gain a few pointers from the site and encourage you to get in touch if you have any pointers for the rest of us.
If your curiosity is killing you, I’ve also included links to a few of my novels, My Heart is a Drummer, Yolanda Polanski and the Bus to Sheboygan, and Welcome Home, which were created based on the principles of subconscious writing. Do they support my arguments? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks!
Adam Sydney
